Is that so you'll know where to stay? We've had to make a lot of snow this winter also. But getting some of the real stuff this week, finally!
claudio mauri: I think we could go anywhere now all the facilities are equipped with artificial snow.
I still find it hard to get my head around artificial snow, Claudio, but I guess it's an important economic invention!
claudio mauri: Even I prefer natural snow, but in these times you can not go so much for the thin, and even the artificial one is fine if you can get yourself skiing. A good invention is decisive, a pity that it makes the cost of the plant ticket increase.

Yes you really do have an absence of the genuine stuff here Claudio
claudio mauri: Sometimes we must be satisfied
I guess it is a major task producing and laying all that artificial snow in the right places.
claudio mauri: Yes, it is a hard work, the cannons always shoot at night and then at the first hours of the day mechanical cats equipped to distribute the snow on the slopes pass, a job for professionals.

this one made me laugh and i apologize now for that, but i grew up in Ohio where i learned to hate cold weather and snow

so, when i saw this beautiful image, the first thing that came to mind was, "why would anyone want to make that stuff on purpose?"

of course i'm not stupid. i realize some people like winter sports and as a child i used to love ice skating on frozen ponds and building snowmen.

then, i survived the blizzard of '78 and i looked at snow differently

you'll have to bear with me : - )
claudio mauri: smile, it is true, they had to create artificial snow to spread on the streets cittedine I would consider the thing under another aspect, but in the high mountains and for those who love skiing, definitely is another thing smile
